Import MAGS configuration from a previous (Pre V1.3) Installation

When upgrading from an earlier MAGS version, running a MAGS job automatically adds that instance to MAGS 1.7.0.1. So normally you won’t have to do anything and all your previously defined MAGS instances will show up in MAGS 1.7.0.1 web interface once they have been run. However you may want to review MAGS instances in the context of MAGS 1.7.0.1 immediately after upgrading and before running them. For that purpose, the import function of mags.exe may be used as follows:

mags.exe -import <MAGS-configuration Path>

For example:

mags.exe -import "C:\MAGS\ WindowsServer2.mags"

This command doesn’t actually run a backup but merely adds an already defined MAGS instance from a previous installation to the MAGS 1.7.0.1 interface for convenient editing and review.
